Who is tired of the rain?? I sure am! Around the gym, there’s been an overall sense of tiredness, lack of energy and grouchiness! In the spirit of this, I have put together a mini workout that you can do just about anywhere and is guaranteed to boost your mood!
Start with 25 jumping jacks (Jump feet out wide, arms reach up over your head)
Walkout push ups (Keep your legs straight as you bend over and walk your hands out into a plank position. From here, do ten pushups, walk your hands backward and stand up. Repeat for 8,6,4 and 2)
Pendulum Lunges (Stand with hands on hips, feet together. Step forward with right foot. Lower left knee toward the floor keeping right knee behind your toes. Bring feet together and step back with the right foot, dropping back knee toward the floor. Repeat 10 on each side)
Last but not least, downward dog! Start on hands and knees. Tuck you toes under and straighten your legs, pushing your heels into the floor and pressing your chest toward your thighs. Hold up to a minute.
