MU April Challenge- Week 1 Review


Well, I started off with a bang and by the end of the week was tapering slightly. I find that the water and exercise are the easiest by far. Sleep is not very possible three days a week unless I go to bed at 9, but seeing as I get home at 8:30, that’s not really an option. The habit has been more difficult than I thought. For my good habit to start, I  chose reading my Bible every day. Sadly, this habit has become lost in a sea of magazines, cookbooks, websites, tv shows, studying and work. I was definitely convicted at church tonight, so I am anxious to get my full points for it next week. Food- this one has been tough because I am so active! It has been great to see how I snack throughout the day and it has forced me to come to terms with my ideas on binging. I am a very black and white thinker, and so I tend to think that if I splurge a little, I should splurge a lot. So, this weekend, my meals have been healthy (except for the burger and tots from McMenamins tonight), but in a larger quantity. This is something I want to see improve ASAP. Balance is so important and I think that is one of the great things about this challenge.

Anyways, I am definitely amped for Week 2 of the April Challenge….I am totalling scores tomorrow, so I will let you know who’s up for teams and individuals!! Keep your eyes peeled!
