The quinoa provides the perfect protein while the blueberries give you a little antioxidant mood boost! Cinnamon aids in satiety and flax gives you more than a daily serving of Omega 3’s!!
Quinoa Blueberry Breakfast Bowl
1/2 cup cooked quinoa
1/2 cup Almond Breeze (or whatever you use for milk)
1/2 cup frozen/fresh blueberries
2 TS ground flax seed
1 t. cinnamon (optional)
1 t. vanilla or maple flavoring/syrup
Optional: chopped almonnds or walnuts would add a great crunch!
Mix all ingredients in a microwave save bowl and heat on high for 2 minutes, or until desired temp is reached. Stir and enjoy!!
